Camtasia: How to Save a Video as an MP4 in Camtasia 9

When you create a video in Camtasia, you have several file format options to choose from, but there’s no need to let them confuse you. In most cases, you’ll want to choose MP4.


MP4 is currently the most commonly accepted and versatile format out there. These videos can be used by many operating systems (including Apple) and in many media players.


Saving your video as an MP4 file in Camtasia 9 is super simple. It took me about 45 seconds, but I slowed it down for this quick tutorial video.
